What is typically included with an outdoor kitchen?

There are many elements that can be included in your outdoor kitchen. We always start with a professional design that lays out all the elements you desire in the space we have to work with. Budget is also another factor on what all can be included. To give you a better idea, here are the most common elements that we build with outdoor kitchens and living spaces.

  • Stove/Oven/Grill (either gas or electric)
  • Refrigerator/Ice Box
  • Sink
  • Dishwasher
  • Shelving/Storage
  • Countertops/Bars (usually granite or other stone)
  • Tables (using decorative pavers/stone)
  • Seating Walls
  • Patio
  • Lighting

What materials are used when constructing an outdoor kitchen?

With these types of kitchens being outdoors and exposed to weather, there are limited types of materials that we typically use. For the appliances (grill, stove, fridge, etc.), we almost always use stainless steel as it holds up the best for our weather conditions in Mt. Juliet. For the construction of tables and counters, we typically use pavers or stone. For the counter/table top itself, granite and tile are popular choices.

When we plan and design your outdoor kitchen/living space, all materials are considered and collaborated on with you. Together, we'll design the best outdoor ktichen that exceeds your expectations. Your outdoor kitchen and living space should be beautiful and require minimum maintenance with longevity, which is what we strive for on every project.
