Types of materials we use for patios and walkways.

There are many different types of materials available to use for your new patio or walkway, here are the most common in the Mt. Juliet, TN area:

• Flagstone or Natural Stone - This creates a more natural looking patio or walkway. There are several natural stone choices that include flagstone, slate, bluestone and limestone. These natural stones tend to cost more because it has to be excavated and transported, adding to the cost. Each piece will vary in thickness and size. This type of material is put in place, then raised and lowered to create a level patio.
• Brick - This creates a more classic look that is easily maintained, extremely durable and can be set in many different patterns. Brick pavers don’t lose their color over time and doesn’t require as much cleaning and maintenance.
• Concrete Pavers - There are many different shapes, styles, patterns and color options when it comes to concrete pavers. This gives our clients plenty of choices to create a unique custom patio.
• Concrete - This option seems very basic, but can have a high-quality finished by having it brushed, acid washed, scored or stamping it with a decorative design. Stamping concrete can mimic brick, cobble, flagstone or other decorative patterns.
